Macedonia

Auch in Nordmazedonien (25.713 km² groß) war ich mit meinem eigenen Auto unterwegs. Die Straßen habe ich als angenehm empfunden und konnte ohne Probleme vom Norden des Landes in den Süden fahren. Am südlichsten Punkt kann man den wunderschönen Galičica-Nationalpark erkunden. Dort befinden sich auch einige verlassene Freizeitanlagen. Wissenswert ist außerdem das im gebirgigen Landesinneren meist ein raueres Wetter als in den umliegenden Ländern herrscht. Dort liegt z.B. eine verlassene Kirche im Mavrovosee, die ein spektakuläres Fotomotiv abgibt.

Even in North Macedonia (27,713km²). I was travelling by car I found the roads pleasant to drive on and could drive from the north of the country to the south without any problems. At the southernmost point, you can explore the beautiful Galičica National Park. There are also some abandoned leisure facilities located there. It’s also worth noting that in the mountainous interior of the country there is usually rougher weather than in the surrounding countries. There is an abandoned church in the Mavrovo Lake, which makes a spectacular photo opportunity.
